I was standing by the staircase, waiting for my wife to finish browsing through the textiles. This man from one of the lots close to the staircase, offered me a chair to sit. And so, I sat. Then he offered me coffee and I accepted and he went to make the coffee. And so I drank. He did not know any English and I did not know any Korean. But his kindness overcame the barriers and we became friends.
