After Inverness, there was the long way back to London. I wanted to capture the snowed peaks of Cairngorms National Park, daylight was short and the passengers were not so enthusiastic about diversions from the highway and frequent stops. Stopovers meant WIFI availability for the kids to communicate with their friends. And that was all that mattered to them. It was not enough. I needed to capture more images, that was the only way I could absorb the scenery and keep the memories alive. I had travelled to many countries, but over the years, the memories had faded into silent blurs and static images.
