On the first day that we were at Loch Ness, the sky was bleak, with intermittent drizzles which lay the whole countryside into drab layers of grey which were challenging for photography. However, on the second day, as we prepared to drive along the narrow winding road towards Drumnadrochit, the lake, the landscapes and farms shone out under the morning sun, with each tree carving its own outline amidst the enlightened greenery.
