Windmill, Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam

Nikon D4s

I can understand why Van Gogh had a high affinity for Dutch villages and its people. Nature and men's structural construction and manipulations of the landscape collaborate cohesively without being rude, into the beauty of simplicity that is easily seen and felt. I can wonder at Van Gogh's paintings at the museum for hours because they have this uncanny pull of simplicity and quietness.
