Taiping Museum has potential as a museum but the curator and the people before him have no sense of what it should showcase. In the end, it is nothing else but a storehouse of stuffed animals and animal bones. Taiping is a town rich in history, from the tin mining, to the British and the Japanese occupation. However, this is not a history museum but a museum of dead animals.
