Taiping Lakes

Nikon D100 f/5 c. November 2004
When I was much younger, I despised Taiping because I came from a small coastal town which had a lot of unhindered space. I came from a place of no borders, just the horizon, across the sea. I did not like the hills in Taiping, for they to me, were like fences and it was claustrophobic. I wonder, if I had stayed in Dungun all this time, would I have been the same as I am now? It is something for me to ponder on.
