Lunch, Myeongdong

Nikon D300 f/3.3 ISO 500 c. November 2010
We went into a small cafe one floor above the street at Myeongdong. The restaurant owner did not know any English and so was the waitress. The menu came in Korean but my wife drew two little circles and a snout in between saying that we did not want to eat that. So, the lady nodded and went into the kitchen. A little while later, she gave me a plate with these condiments with rice at the bottom. I looked at it for a while, trying to figure out what to do with it. Observing my inability to do something with it, she came again and with hand gestures, instructed that the condiments should be mixed. This I did, and the food tasted good.
