Leyak dance

Nikon D3s f/5.6 ISO 6000
Off the beaten track, there was the leyak dance, known only to the very few. Even to pronounce the name at nights creates fear from the locals. The leyaks are the shadow people, the nocturnal demons who walk in the shadows on walls and in unlit narrow streets. Possessed, the masked dancer moved and danced to the silence of the night, darting about sometimes and arrogantly taunting the small human audience which it considered despicable. There was no theatrical comedy to excite tourists here but only the seriousness of real evil, cloaked within a human body.
