Near Cairngorms National Park, Scotland

Nikon D4s c. December 2014

When I observed all the images I have taken, it is without a doubt that I am skewed towards landscape photography. A lot. While there is hardly any room for pre-shoot manipulation, other than repositioning the camera, a significant portion of the image is dependent on the weather prevailing at the time. In a way, it is dependent on luck. I could have passed this way when the sun has set or that the clouds painted a dull background. In another way, I am merely reflecting the image of that time in this blog. So, if the landscape provides 97% of the final imagery, with the camera positioning at another 2%, then my capability of a photographer is only 1%.
