In the excitement of being, I always forget to use the tripod. Maybe not. I was disappointed of it at Amsterdam when it proved, being newly purchased, to be flimsy under strong gusts of wind. I had wanted to bring the Manfrotto but it is too heavy to lug around. It would have added another 2.5 kilograms. Still, I managed because the VR factor of the lens facilitated.
