I went to a few scenic locations on the island. I saw a few signboards, large ones of course, that could not be missed. A typical signboard would tell about the legend or myth about the place, in very few words, of course. Never enough to spur the imagination without any detailed description and the dates. I scoured through the hotel's brochures and those things that a hotel would keep in the drawer of the table, typical of any hotel room. As again, the words are few and never enough to spur the imagination. It would be better if the legend or myth remains unsaid or unwritten. As it is, it is like being served food which cannot be eaten or tasted.
