Old bicycle, Karachi

Nikon D100 f/5.6 ISO 200 c. 2005
I have posted this photo before, I think. It was the cleaner's bicycle leaning by the wall at the porch. Unable to move around freely in Karachi due to security reasons, I just moved about in the courtyard, snapping pictures of things.

Boys at dusk, Port Dickson

Nikon D300 f/11 ISO 200 c. November 2011
The joy of watching children rejoicing in feeling the sand with their feet is almost the same as feeling the sand with one's own feet. As I grow older, I watch more often than participate with the scenery before me.

Without the presence of people, the sunset means nothing. More and more I find that the element of people in landscape imagery enhances the photography. People like to see people. People relate to people.
